We are ready to BE GOOD and to DO GOOD!
Welcome to The Element School. We are a small, independent school offering a unique and innovative holistic education program for elementary, middle, and high school students in the beautiful Temecula Valley region of Southern California. At The Element School, we create a context for learning that fosters the personal and academic growth, happiness, and success of our students through a unique program centered on the elements of creative, social, environmental, global, and empowerment consciousness. We preserve and foster a lifelong love of learning by giving our students the opportunity to create their own curriculum within a community of inspired, motivated, and passionate learners who enjoy a program centered on the arts and ecology.
The Element School features small-group, multi-age learning with the active involvement of highly-qualified teachers who serve as facilitators of learning rather than disseminators of knowledge. Through our interdisciplinary integrated arts model, students study themes across all subjects and express their learning in ways that are personally meaningful and relevant. The school culture promotes positive emotional and social literacy skills through the practice of mindfulness, applications of compassionate communication, and involvement in community service-learning projects. Throughout the year, Guest Artists offer their teaching to students in the areas of visual arts, music, film, dance, theater, and creative writing.
